Junior Season - 2026

Registrations for the Junior season are now open! We will have teams entered in Waibop Leagues from 7th grade to 13th Community. Grades are based on the age in which a player turns during this calendar year - for example, if a player was turning 9 in August, they are classed as 9th grade. For players younger than 7th grade, we have a Mini Blues program for you! Click the Mini Blues button above for more information.

Whole of Football 2.0

This Season the Whole of Football 2.0 Framework has introduced new format changes. The key differences are field sizes and team numbers. Click on the Whole of Football Link which will take you to the Waibop website for more information.

Community Coaching Session

We are proud to continue delivering inclusive and engaging community coaching sessions for our young players. To better support development and enjoyment, our sessions now feature boys’ and girls’ groups split into separate training environments.

This structure allows our coaches to tailor sessions to the needs of each group, creating a positive, supportive space where every player can grow in confidence, skill, and love for the game. Our focus remains on fun, learning, and fostering a strong sense of belonging within the Wanderers community.

Junior Coaches and Managers

In order to make the season a great success, we need coaches and team managers to support our junior teams for the upcoming season. Our junior programme plays a vital role in developing young players, not only in football skills but also in teamwork, confidence, and a love for the game.

Whether you’re an experienced coach, a parent keen to get involved, or someone looking to start their coaching journey, we’d love to hear from you. The club provides support, guidance, and development opportunities to help you succeed in your role. If you’re passionate about football and giving back to the community, join the Hamilton Wanderers family and help shape the next generation of players.

We understand it can be hard to find time to coach your team during the week - but you can leave that part to us! We run the Community Coaching Session on a Wednesday, leaving you to just take the lead on Game Days! If you are able to help us out in any way, please email wanderersjuniors@gmail.com w

aneersjuniors@gmail.com

Junior Uniform

All junior players are required to purchase their official playing uniform through our apparel partner, Dynasty Sport. This ensures consistency across all teams and provides our players with high-quality, durable gear that represents the Wanderers with pride. This uniform is the same as the last 5 years, therefore if you already have it, there is no need to purchase a new one! (The style has been the same over the years, just a few Sponsor changes and placements have been made - any Dynasty version of the top is fine to wear)

Uniforms are compulsory for match days and are not required for training. Sizes are true to size, and will be avaliable for sizing at the Junior Muster, you will still need to purchase this online. For further details on uniform items and how to order - click the Club Store link below

Special Requests

We understand players want to play with their friends etc, on the registration form their is a part for 'Any Special Requests?', if there is a request, please place these comments into this textbox. We review these all individually and do our absolute best to meet these, keeping in mind we do need to consider individuals Year of Birth.

We have our Junior Muster on the March - times TBC, this is not compulsory to attend, it's just a great way to get players together and have a kick around, also if you have a question, pop down and ask. We will have uniforms there for you to try on for size.
